The Chinese government's special team investigating the deadly train crash six days ago has finished its first meeting. Head of the team, Luo Lin, who is also the director of the country's Work Safety Administration, says ideas were proposed and tasks were designated to different groups. "Every individual investigation team, has already finished on-site investigations, collected information, and initiated their work plans." The results of the probe are due to be released by mid-September. The special investigation team consists of officials from the Work Safety Administration, the Ministry of Railways, the All China Federation of Trade Unions, and local officials. Scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering have also been invited.
